PLEASE TAKE GREAT CARE WHEN PARKING SO AS NOT TO OBSTRUCT ACCESS ON MARINE DRIVE, THE ONLY ACCESS ROAD FROM THE ESTATE TO THE A259. PLEASE ONLY PARK ON RIGHT SIDE OF ROAD, NOT ON LEFT. PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THE BEND BEYOND THE HOUSE ON TO ROOKERY WAY.

Due to the garden's popularity, we need to consider access from the estate to the A 259. The area of road outside the house is the only exit for traffic from the large estate behind us. It is imperative that we leave space for cars to pull in and pass each other and avoid unnecessary congestion.

BY BUS: The garden is located right on the 12 & 12a bus routes operated by Brighton & Hove buses from Brighton or Eastbourne, so you can leave the car at home and come by bus! Alight at Bishopstone Road and look for signs on the main road to the garden, which is only 2 mins from the bus stop located on the A259.

BY CAR: from Newhaven, take the A259 to Seaford and watch out for signs to Bishopstone Village only on the left, take the left turn then immediately turn left into Marine Drive and Driftwood is the second house up on the right hand side. See parking request above.

BY TRAIN: take the Southern service from Brighton, Lewes or Seaford and get off at the lovely art deco station pictured left, at Bishopstone. Cross the railway bridge and walk down Station Road to the end of Hawth Hill then on to the A259 main road. Turn left and walk along the main road for 200 yards and cross over in to Bishopstone Road and follow signs into Marine Drive and Driftwood is the second house up on the right hand side. A six minute walk from the station.
