I have been writing articles and features about my garden since late 2012, click on the summary. 2026 therefore marks 14 years of writing published work for various national and local media! That’s approximately 683,900 published words written, not to mention the many one-off pieces, for a variety of sources, which probably brings it close to three quarters of a million words written since 2012. It began with a monthly column in the national gardening magazine, Garden News, which continues to this day. | ||

I began a weekly gardening column in the Brighton daily newspaper, The Argus, in April 2017 which continued to June 2022 when it was given a full page each week from July 2022. There is a monthly gardening feature in a magazine in Eastbourne called Bournefree, begun in April 2020. In my role as Publicity Officer for the National Garden Scheme in East & Mid Sussex, I frequently contribute articles to Sussex Exclusive on gardens opening and since 2013 have written scripts which I broadcast on BBC Radio Sussex, each month, between February and September. By clicking the buttons below you can see all columns, features, blogs and the book I've published on Blurb about the gardens development. The 2024 edition of my Blurb book is expensive as printed copy by copy but the PDF digital version is just £8 plus VAT.
