In 2022 I was asked to write a multi-page gardening feature for the quarterly digital magazine, Sussex Exclusive.

The first piece was published in July 2022 and the final piece in August 2026 in their first printed magazine.

Editor, Lucy Pitts wrote: "We're now making some significant changes to the magazine. We're scaling back the digital edition and putting much more emphasis on print, which means the print magazine needs to cover more of its own costs.
As part of that, we're changing how we use feature space, with more features supported by paid partnerships. We've decided to use the gardening slot for a paid partnership, as we have several clients who are keen so we won't be continuing with the regular columns. This is a commercial decision arising from the new model, and does'nt diminish our appreciation of your work or the relationship we've built over the years."

She went on to say "That said, it really is a heartfelt thank you for all the gardening contributions you've made to Sussex Exclusive over the years. Your contributions to the magazine have been a valued part of what we do, and we're very grateful for the time, knowledge and care you've given them.
Thank you again, for everything you've contributed to Sussex Exclusive. We've been fortunate to have your work in the magazine."
